Happy Thanksgiving! | |

The Army really puts on a feast at Thanksgiving. The lines at the dining facility were five times longer than usual today, but it seemed no one minded the wait. There was turkey (no one should be surprised), a porterhouse round, prime rib, ham, and shrimp cocktail (probably *not* from local waters). A general was good enough to come by shaking hands and everyone was feeling a warm and cheery mood. Here's a link that deserves to be read today with a few proclamations appropriate for the occasion: Proclamations http://www.preachingpoint.com/clientimages/43859/sermons/thanksgivingthankyoumarcusmerritt.pdf For many mercies and graces, let us thank the Lord. |
